• What kind of families are part of the VOLORO community?

  • Our families are those who seek meaningful education. They value empathy, creativity, autonomy, and want their children to be seen, respected, and supported beyond academics. Many of our families are innovators, entrepreneurs, artists, or professionals who wish to be at the forefront of how childhood is nurtured.

• What ages can attend?

  • We accompany Explorers from their first year of life through age 12. Each developmental stage is honored with research-based practices rooted in neuroscience and a deep understanding of human development.

• What does a typical day at VOLORO look like?

  • There are no “typical” days at VOLORO. Each day unfolds from the group’s real interests, their questions, the natural environment, and the rhythms of the moment. Our Guides are not just present, they are intentional. They observe with sensitivity and design meaningful learning opportunities based on what truly matters to the group. Nothing is random, everything has purpose.

• What do the Guides do outside of their time with the Explorers?

  • In addition to their time with Explorers, our Guides spend hours documenting daily experiences, preparing environments, and collaborating with colleagues and specialists. This collective work enriches the learning journey and ensures each child benefits from the expertise and vision of our entire team.

• What is your approach to English?

  • VOLORO is not a bilingual school, we offer an English immersion experience. The language is naturally woven into daily life, allowing Explorers to absorb it gradually, without pressure, and with the support of their peers and surroundings. It’s a gentle, joyful, and meaningful way to connect with the language.
